Just thought I would drop you a short note to let you know that Kody has adjusted just fine. He doesn't act submissive at all now that he is feeling safe and secure. I think with the girls around that has helped a bit. The other night the boys came home from a fire at around midnight and he sounded a warning that someone had just walked into the house. I was surprised since I hadn't hear a peep out of him. I think that is wonderful. He sleeps in front of Trinities crate at night sorta like keeping her safe. I just got done introducing him to the kitty and he has been around cats to some degree. He was pretty unimpressed by her. He just looked at her and she came up and sniffed his nose and then took her paw and patted him on the muzzle a few times and then walked off. You could just see him shrug and decide to explore the bathroom. So over time I think they will be just fine. A little contact each day and they will be able to be around each other all the time in not time at all. He doesn't have any real bad habits - the worst is standing on his hind legs on the french doors to be let in...minor inconvenience. Other than that he is doing wonderfully. He has been introduced to two of my friends dogs and got along just fine right away. He is learning how to play like a dog...tag and that sort of thing. He loves the pool and is now lying in it with the girls. That is a sight since it is not that big and they are all draped over each other to be in the water at once. Well, off to paint a bedroom. I just wanted to give you an update and to thank you again for such a wonderful dog. When I get pix I will send your way. Let me know if you will be in the area I would love to meet you and have you see the "kids". Thank you again.
