Cudda
08/27/03
Cudda's doing great & we just love him to pieces! A few holes have been dug & a few things have been chewed, but that's to be expected. He's such a good boy & so good with our boys (ages 3 & 6)!
Kweebo
08/25/03
Hello, my name is Kweebo and I'm a Malamute/???????? mix who was lucky enough to be put up for adoption on the Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League internet site. I spent my first 4.5 years as an outdoor dog who didn't get enough time with people (I love people more than anything, except squirrels). And spent my last year stuck on a chain most of the time. Luckily some wonderful people saw that I needed a better home and put me up for adoption. My new and final owner, Rex (what a great dog name!!) saw me on the internet and couldn't resist my beauty and character. Now I have my very own house and fenced back yard so I'll never spend months on a chain again. I sleep on a big orange couch instead of the hard ground. I share with my new house with a big feline sister (Pepper) and little lab puppy brother (Hunter). I play with my new little brother all day long and try to teach him new things like digging and burying bones. I'm so used to being outside that I spend hours sleeping on my new lawn, but can come inside whenever I want. Finally, I want to thank the wonderful people at WAMAL for ruffing, I mean running a wonderful organization and finding good owners for perfect dogs like myself.
Woof Woof,
Kweebo.
I second that last thought,
Rex

Howdy! I saw the Web site changes and I got to say I love them! We've adopted and Fostered dogs from WALMAL in the past. I wanted to send along this picture of my guys 3 of whom I adopted from WALMAL and AMOR (Oregon rescue) Was thinking you could add them to the Happy Tails section. Shown in the pics are Steele - Our First Mal and the 1st Mal listed as Rescued on the WALMAL Site Cinnamon - a husky we adopted from AMOR, Lucky, we got from WALMAL last October and Caillou and dog we bought from a breeder. Thanks for making the web site look great:)
In the "good Line Out Photo You see Steele and Caillou in wheel, Cinnamon in Swing, and Lucky in Single Lead. Lucky is becoming a good lead dog. this was taken at Mushing Boot Camp this May.
The Other picture was taken this past winter in the Fish lake area. It Shows Lucky and Cinnamon in Lead and Steele and Caillou in Wheel.
Red Dog

I was looking at the puppies happy endings and noticed that our puppy wasn't in the pictures. I had sent some pictures before so I thought I would try again. Red was one of the puppies adopted from a large litter in 2002. He is a year and a half now. He is the guy on the left hand side. He weighs in at a respectable 105lbs. He is here with his adopted sister/mom Osha. He has turned out to be a great dog. He talks a lot and is very sweet. He LOVES kids. I hope we see him on your site soon, as I think he too is a success story.
