ZEKE is a sweet boy who is happiest when he is hanging out with his humans.  His craves a daily routine of walks, food, naps, play time, treats, more naps, exploring his yard, dinner and ready for bed by 7 pm.   If he is not happy about something, he won't hestiate to tell you his thoughts with a few Whoo Whoos.

A home with a fenced yard for ZEKE to enjoy the sunshine, sniff the air and watch the neighborhood would be ideal.  ZEKE knows many commands; sit, lay down, stay, come and  load up are a few.  He could easily learn more with a few treats to motivate him.

ZEKE does well with other large dogs, especially if they are female, and with older considerate children.  He doesn't realize his size, therefore it is best he does not play with small dogs, or young children.  

If you take ZEKE on an adventure in a car he will fuss and make some noise because he is not a big fan of car rides.  But once he arrives at the destination, especially if it is a fun hike or place to explore, he is excited and loving it.

After a long day full of activities ZEKE prefers to go to his crate to sleep, which is his safe and quiet spot away from the family chaos.

ZEKE's furever family should be able to spend most of their day with him, even if it is just letting him lounge around with you. All he wants is to be close to you and part of your pack.
