Practically perfect in every way, NIKO wants nothing more than a wonderful home of his very own!  And he certainly deserves that after being surrendered to a shelter when his previous family determined they did not have enough time for him and often left him outside.  In the shelter he has been friendly with the staff and is described as calm and gentle, enjoying attention and love!  Estimated to be about six years old and about 65 pounds, he would be a great match for a family looking for a smaller, more medium energy level malamute.  He may do well with another dog of similar energy level in his new home and will also likely enjoy getting all the attention as an only dog.  Niko is a special malamute that is truly ready to join a family where he can be by your side on walks around the neighborhood, some weekend hikes, and snuggles on the couch!
