SHADOW is a big senior boy in search of a retirement home with a large fenced yard for lounging and playtime!  He will do best in a quieter home with adults and possibly older children and tends to gravitate towards men.  He may do okay with another dog similar to his age and activity level, but would probably be happiest as an only pet.  Shadow has spent the majority of his life outdoors, and with the failing health of his owners, hasn't had a lot of activity outside of his penned area in recent years.  He will need some patience joining his new home to relearn leash skills and start to discover the amazing comforts of indoor life and lots of attention.  This will be fun for him and his new family, as true to malamute form, even though he is a senior he is strong and has a good medium energy level so will enjoy walks and hanging out.  Shadow is friendly with people and greets with a wagging tail and would love to share his big fluffy self with his new family!
