My name is ICICLE and I've come a long way baby!  Icicle, or Icy for short, has thrived over the past year in his foster home recovering from an abusive owner and multiple knee surgeries.  Physically he is all healed up and emotionally he is doing so much better!  Icy has been set-up for success in his awesome foster home and is now ready - and so deserving - of a home of his very own!  His foster family said it best: "Icicle just needs someone that will love him, be patient while he adapts and understands he’s in his new furever home."  With that patience and love you will get a TON in return!  Icy warms up pretty quickly to new people now and loves belly rubs and attention!  He gives thank you kisses when he gets his food and is just so thankful to be safe!  He is house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands of 'sit', 'down', 'no' and, 'come' and also knows hand signals for 'sit' and 'lay down'.  This smart cookie also makes a great copilot and can't wait to join you on some outdoor adventures.  While he will never be a hardcore athlete due to his knee surgeries and some arthritis, he is still quite active and likes to go on walks and play in the yard - including fetch and tug'o'war.  His favorite toy is his plush bunny - how cute is that?!  He may do well in a home with another dog that is of similar energy level and has done well with some other dogs he has met.  Take a look into those eyes - they are quite striking - he's both bi-eyed and parti-eyed.  His brown eye has a sliver of blue and his blue eye has a sliver of brown!  As awesome as that is, his best feature is a little heart shaped fur mark on his tummy!  Please consider opening your heart and home to this super sweet boy!
