Learn more about the Chihuahua. Bonded with Terry
Opposites attract with this adorable bonded pair! Meet Terry the Alaskan Malamute and Indie the Chihuahua! This duo ended up in the shelter together and share the traits of being escape artists. It is reported that Indie is the instigator and starts to dig and Terry joins and makes a hole big enough to go on an adventure. Other than that challenge these are great pups and are going to make someone very lucky! In the shelter they held off using the potty until they were outside so we expect potty training will be easy in their new home. Terry the Malamute is reported to be very sweet and social and likes to lean on people to get pets and gives kisses. He is very gentle and is easy to walk on leash. He knows commands of sit paw and down and takes treats gently. He will even share them with Indie! Indie the Chihuahua is reported to be slightly overweight since Terrie is such a good sharer of treats and food! He is also very sweet and affectionate and likes to stay close to his big buddy. In fact when they were first transferred from a kill shelter the new shelter didn't realize they were a bonded pair and kenneled them separately. Terry solved that by climbing out of his kennel and into Indies! These two are definitely better together! The adoption fee of $300 includes spay-neuter and all vaccines. Terry and Indie are being lovingly cared for in Washington while they await their new forever home.
