ZENA is a lovely lady looking for a retirement home to call her very own.  She was found by good Samaritans and when no one claimed her, she came into rescue.  She was a little timid when she was first rescued, but is settling in well and is described as being a total sweetheart.  Zena is deaf, but that doesn't stop her and she can feel vibrations and see.  She is reported to have some stiffness in her hips and needs soft food since her teeth aren't the best, but hey - it's not that easy getting older!  Despite her age, her favorite part of the day is going for a walk which she LOVES!  She also enjoys spending time outside and will come into the house where she quickly acclimated and doesn't have accidents.  She has been fine around other animals she has been introduced to and may enjoy sharing her home with a laid back male that has a similar energy level.  Zena just really wants a soft place to nap, strolls in the neighborhood or park, and a dedicated ear scratch provider!
