A malamute named Nanook (he is a siberian mix small amount) has lived in Yakima with his golden retriever friends & Mom. He is about > 95lbs. His family situation changed and Nanook cannot go with. He is 3 and needs more attention than Mom can give. Someone is watching him at his old house now until we can find him a home. Nanook has room to run but no one to play with. He was rescued from an abusive home. Mom thought he would have a happy forever life with her but things have changed. More about Nanook: "He is house trained and knows how to sit, speak, lay down, shake, and stay on voice and hand commands. Once comfortable at someone's house he just lays down and loves to be with people. He has not shown any aggression toward any dogs but has not really been around cats only at the vets and he just kinda whines when he sees them not knowing what to do. He will also give kisses if you ask him to. He is a great loving dog.". Nanook is located in the Greater Yakima Area.
