Update: Rocky is now in a loving foster home in Kent. His foster family sees no evidence of a hip problem that the shelter thought he might have. It turns out it may have been an injury from the dog fight he was in with the prior owners dogs. He is being observed for any further complications, but at this point it looks like he is a normal healthy dog, now that his injuries have healed. Rocky is a big happy boy. A loving soul brought him into her house after finding him as a stray, but unfortunately her two family dogs picked on him and she had to make the tough decision to give him up so he could have a happier, more relaxed home life. According to his previous owner, Rocky enjoys chew bones and digging. He is also gentle, affectionate, playful and friendly. He is unknown with cats or children, although due to his size and energy, he could easily knock small children over purely by accident. Rocky is now in a loving foster home in Kent and will soon be evaluated for possible hip dysplasia before being available for adoption. Rocky is being fostered in Kent, WA. |
