Update: Siska and Nanuk were adopted out together - Yippie! :) Nanuk and Siska joined us from Yakima where their owner who loved them very much had become too ill to care for them. But the care they have received all their lives really shows! In fact, it shows about 20 lbs too much and these two are now on a diet. Both dogs are very friendly, exuberant and happy about life. They do not challenge fences and seem to dig only to keep cool. They are very well mannered and happy-go-lucky (except when they are being bathed which they think is awful) and are said to get along with all critters. They are eager to please and were obviously beloved family dogs. Siska and Nanuk could easily be adopted together. They would adjust well to a new home that way. They are easy to care for and have no bad history to overcome. They just need to be loved again. Presently being boarded in Monroe, WA. Siska must be adopted with her companion, Nanuk (adopted).
