Learn more about the Alaskan Malamute.
Zassa was rescued by his current owners from a downtown Seattle front porch where he spent all his time in a small kennel with another large dog. He was very skittish and timid and did not like to be around people..... Now he has full reign of the house, the yard and the car. He still is a little shy around adult men, however he does extremely well with children. His current owners have children 11, 7 and 1 yr old. They report that: He also does very well with other dogs, tolerates cats but, like any malamute, if they run, he gives chase. He needs to be placed where he can get more attention and training than where he currently is. He will make a wonderful family member for someone with a lot of patience to help him become even better socialized. He is residing with his owners in Auburn, WA |
