Raven is a big happy beautiful neutered male, current on his vaccines and micro-chipped. Unfortunately Ravens family moved, and no longer has a yard appropriate for a Malamute. Raven is reported to be great with kids, even very young ones. Raven has a history with cats so can not be adopted out to a family who owns a cat unless we absolutely certain Raven would have no access to the cats and the cats would stay away from Raven. Raven is friendly to everyone he has ever met, and likes other dogs, both Male and Female. Raven knows many commands, and walks well on leash. Raven knows his basic commands and minds very well. For play time he likes to be chased around the yard and will even play fetch for long periods of time. Raven loves walks, likes to lead, and always sticks to the visible path.

Raven is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go out but typically prefers to be outdoors. When he comes in the house he usually only wants to stay indoors for 30 minutes or so at a time before telling you he wants back out. Raven is used to being in a large chain link kennel with a dog house at night and during the day being free to roam in his fenced back yard. Raven, like most Mals, does tend to dig when he is bored and he has been know to chew on a few kid toys if they are left within reach and unattended. Raven actually likes to carry stuffed animals around the house.

Raven has been camping a few times and rides in the truck very well, even for extended periods of time. Raven is a very social boy and would do best in a home with at least one more large dog to keep him company.

Raven is currently living with his family in Black Diamond, WA while looking for his new home.
