Malibu is the perfect companion for a loving home looking for a not-too-high-energy mal. She is perfectly content to lie about while you go off to work, but she definitely wants to be with you when you're around. She will follow you everywhere in her efforts to be loved on, but she's not obnoxious about it. So, she will sit beside you and lean in for all the snuggling she can get. She is very sweet and gentle. Despite being literally smothered with love by teenagers, Malibu has never been anything but patient with them. Moreover, she has shown no aggression at all toward her two feline housemates (but, she is never left unsupervised with them). She has not demonstrated much interest in joining the canine pack, rather she tends more toward human companionship. Once she gets over her initial enthusiasm for an outing, she will settle in nicely on her leash and enjoy a pleasant walk with you. She is fairly low-key and not too interested in high levels of activity. She just wants to be with her people! She travels beautifully in the car. She does have her share of strong-willed female tendencies, but with a firm and consistent leader, Malibu is a wonderful and loving companion. Malibu is being fostered in Seattle, WA.
