Learn more about the Alaskan Malamute.
Momma was a malamute, Daddy was a dawg, possibly an Aussie. ShyAnne and her brother Shadow have beautiful malamute coloring and marking and the malamute woo-woo. But just a bit of something else too and ShyAnne is smaller and more delicate-seeming than the normal malamute. She is, however, quite an agile an energetic puppy - all the way. She loves to play, can get in and out of, well, trouble! but did not challenge a four foot fence, undoubtedly because she did not want to as she surely could have. ShyAnne gets along with EVERY single dog around, loves the pool. Now that her brother has left, she will bark at strangers - that is the Aussie in her. But she is not at all aggressive - no teeth baring or other protector actions. She is just become the local alarm system. ShyAnne has been separated from her brother Shadow so she can learn about life on her own, outside the nursery of a backyard. She is skittish but improving hourly. ShyAnne has too much energy to be left alone for long and will do really well with another dog or with family members home or in an active household where he can be entertained - and entertain you! ShyAnne is currently being fostered in Cle Elum, WA. ShyAnne's brother, Shadow (adopted) can also be seen on our website.
