Kayak is a sweet, shy gentle guy. He was terrified in the shelter - had possibly never been out of his home before - but has blossomed in a normal backyard around other dogs. He does not like the times when he has to be kenneled but settles down, only barking occasionally.

Kayak is submissive and seems to be quite hand-shy. He will require some gentle handling and may require slow introductions to new things. He is a one-owner dog and was said to have been raised by a couple and with cats but not with children. We see no reason why he would be a problem with children but there appears to be no experience there either.

He is getting along great with all of the dogs in his foster moms yard - we will update as we know more.
