Sampson's family moved and left him and his two canine companions at the shelter. Sampson is 10.5 years old and deserves a forever home where he can spend his last few years in comfort and love. He does not deserve to be in a shelter or in a boarding kennel in rescue.

Sampson needs a quiet home where he can live his final years (which should be at least three and probably more) with love and attention. He is still full of life and has even been on some long hikes with our volunteers. But typical of dignified older gentlemen, he does not want to be jumped on or jostled by other dogs or to be pulled on by little kids, and will express that. He has plenty of love to give and is supremely grateful for any he gets. Seniors in rescue are especially heart breaking for us. Please give this boy a place to live that he deserves.
