Learn more about the Alaskan Malamute.
Avalanche (105 lbs) and Kodiak (85 lbs), predominantly Alaskan Malamute, have been raised together since birth. They are now 5 years old. They are neutered and current on vaccines. They are excellent family dogs who are used to babies and cats. They currently reside in a residential neighborhood and are outside in a 4 foot fence during the day and inside at night. They know basic commands such as sit, stay, come, lay down and they know what rooms in the house they are allowed to go into and what rooms they are not. They are very friendly and love walks. They are not barkers or diggers and have not had trouble keeping them fenced. We are looking for a new home for them because they do not do well when boarded separately and we have had trouble finding a place that will board them in the same kennel. We travel a lot so, unfortunately, this will not work for us. They need to go to a home together, preferably one with some room for them to run. Avalanche must be adopted with his brother, Kodiak (adopted).
