An update from Lobo's foster mom:
Lobo (wolf in spanish) is very friendly and outgoing with people and seems to think it is his duty to greet everyone he meets with a hug and kiss on the face. Most adults find this quite entertaining the first time it happens (except for the muddy paw prints on the shoulders) but kids do not. Lobo is a bit too rambunctious in this regard for smaller children. The only thing I have found to keep him from leaping into my arms for a hug is to kneel down and hug him first. He is a very snuggley, affectionate boy who loves attention.

Lobo also loves to be on top of things. When he is not running laps around the yard with is foster sister Paloma, he can be found chillin on top of his dog house. At a park, his favorite place is on top of the picnic table. If there is food up there, that is a bonus, but he really just wants the view.

This boy loves car rides but prefers to be in the front seat, so a divider or crate is a good idea. He also loves to hike. He does not pull as strongly uphill as I would like(!) but he does not yard you back down the mountain either. He likes to smell the roses along the way, and pee on each one, too.

Lobo is a bit picky about his doggy friends. He does best with girl dogs of his size, and is not good with smaller dogs or cats. He is young and loves to run and play, so should be matched with a dog of similar age and energy level.

Lobo is being cared for in Shoreline (North Seattle), WA.
