Marissa is starting to settle into her new foster home. Here is what her foster mom has to say about her:
She is a sweet girl, LOTS of energy! She is a very busy dog! She likes to go for walks, does very well on leash, and likes walking right next to Scout (another malamute) rubbing against him the whole time. She might make a good team dog! With the cats Marissa is showing progress, but I still keep them separate from her when she is inside the house. In close quarters, she is a little too agitated for my liking, and may never be cat safe. Outside she will chase them, but does respond to no kitty and comes when you call her back. Marissa loves people, and is good with bigger dogs similar to her size. Marissa does great traveling, in the truck and in the motorhome. When she wants to be petted, she will back up to you and wait for you to rub her hips, that is her favorite! Marissa is a good eater, but still staying fit. We have had a lot of rain here, so the dogs are in need of a bath, and she cleans up great! She is almost too busy for a good brushing, like a little kid she does not want to sit still for that long! :)

Marissa will make someone a great pet, but we would recommend a home without small pets.
