Arthur and his brother Merlin were recently turned over to rescue because their previous family could not give them the time they deserved due to illness in their human family as well as with an older Malamute and work demands. Both are good car travelers and love to play with other dogs. They are sweet dogs that want to be with people and they are ready for training and enjoying all the wonders of the world! Both boys have softer coats so may require a little more brushing and should not be left outside without cover. Arthur and Merlin have been raised together since birth so a joint adoption is possible to the right home. Both will be up to date on vaccines, wormed and neutered before placement. Arthur is a great puppy. We currently have him fostered with our two mals. He plays constantly and is happiest with the pack. (I think he might be lonely as an only dog). He walks well on the leash with little pulling and wants to stop to meet every person/dog he passes. He has been great the two times we have encountered little kids and he did not put his feet up or try to knock them down. Just lots of slobbery puppy kisses. He loves being brushed and will close his eyes, stretch out his legs to enjoy it. He is mostly house-trained and only seems to pee in the house when he gets really excited. Arthur rides really well in our truck and sits quietly looking out the windows. At this point his is still afraid to climb in and out on his own and needs to be lifted into the camper.....but once he is in, he is very mellow. He did well with the cat-test and seems mostly un-interetested. He is ocassionally curious about her as she walks around, but is easily distracted back to playing with toys or being petted. He is a good pup whose really eager to please and is learning fast. He is going to make a great pet. Everyone who has met him so far wishes they could take him home.
