Isis has spent her whole life with a family until recently where she was turned into a local shelter. Isis loves walks and is wonderful on a leash. She knows all of her basic commands, and even though we were told she did not like brushing, she about fell over herself when we were brushing her. She gets along with children and seems to do okay with indoor cats. Outdoor cats better be quick though, because this old gal can sure move fast when she wants to go after one. Isis would probably prefer to be an only dog.

Isis just had a check up, had her shots updated, and was given a clean bill of health. The vet says she is a very healthy dog. She has some muscle atrophy from being a couch potato, but with regular walks twice a day will be back in shape in no time. She also has mild hip dysplaysia, but the vet says that it is to be expected at her age and was of no real concern. Age is after all really just a number. If you can provide Isis with a comfortable home and regular exercise for the rest of her life she will repay you with an incredible amount of love.
