Like Keeper, Xena has lived her entire life outdoors. Xena has not been socialized with people, so is extremely shy. She is a very kind dog who has never been taught that people are not going to hurt her, as a result she is very shy with adults but loves children. It will take a patient, slow hand to give her the chance to be a part of a family. Xena is very good with male dogs, having been kenneled with K-2 for the last several years, but has not been around other females much. She would not be a candidate for a home with other small animals or cats. She is a beautiful Malamute and given the chance and patience to develop trust, would be an excellent addition to the family.
