The Salsa Puppies got their name when Mom's name turned out to be Mambo. Along with Mambo, they were part of the Colville Seizure as baby puppies. There are 3 boys and 1 girl. Salsa, Rhumbo and Tango are now boisterous little boys and Pepper is way more Tomboy than lady.

They are adorable, growing by leaps and bounds and ready for forever homes. While they are not AKC registered, the Salsa Puppies are the most malamute puppies, as a litter, that their foster mom has seen in a number of years, in malamute rescue. They are clearly all northern breed. Mom is a mal/sibe mix. Dad was clearly a sable malamute, and based on the puppies' appearances, it is very possible that Wookie, in fact, is Dad.

Tango is a pip; he is full of himself. Rhumba is the biggest but also the most easily scared. Salsa is the gentlest; he even enjoys being a lap puppy. And Pepper totally fits her name!

Are you ready to give your malamute puppy its first winter?

The Colville dogs were seized from a *husky-dog* puppy mill in the woods outside of Spokane in September. 36 dogs were seized; malamutes, siberians and mal/sibe mixes. WAMAL has the malamutes and some of the mal/sibe mixes. More on these dogs later; watch this site for their very own page.
