Kodi thinks he is going to grow up to be like the big boy Malamutes he is hanging out with. Shhhhh.... do not tell him, but he is really a seven month old Siberian Husky that snuck his way into Malamute rescue due to a volunteer with an inability to say we couldn't take him. Kodi's owner passed away recently and then he spent a week at the local shelter waiting to see if a relative was going to come claim him. While he was there he got in a small tussle with a kennel mate but since we have had him we have seen no signs of dog aggression at all, so we are guessing that was just too much stress for such a young pup locked in a kennel with a dog he didn't know. Kodi is very well socialized, loves people, treats and snuggling and this young boy has energy to burn! If you love the northern breed traits but are not interested in being drug around the neighborhood by a full sized Mal this may be the boy for you. He is athletic, appears to have basic puppy manners and training and is ready for adventures with a new family. He has not been tested with cats. Kodi is being cared for in Shoreline, WA. |
