Learn more about the Alaskan Malamute.
This strikingly handsome boy came into rescue after a daring escape and a run in with some chickens. Simba has now been neutered, which may decrease his desire to roam, but it is safe to say he will need a securely fenced yard and a regular exercise program to keep him from getting bored. Simba has lived with another male malamute so would probably love a canine companion similar in size to him. We doubt he would co-exist well with cats. Simba is very people and dog friendly and walks great on a leash. He would make an excellent running or hiking partner, and would probably be beyond thrilled to own his very own backpack. Simba also seems very eager to get in a truck and go for a ride, so loading him up with your snow shoes and heading for the mountain trails will be a breeze. Simba is being cared for in Seattle, WA. |
