Think Thelma and Louise, Cagney and Lacey, Wilma and Betty, Kate and Allie! Skamper is one half of a female dynamic duo mother, daughter team that just came into rescue as a bonded pair. They are double the fun with half the trouble. Skamper's dad was a Siberian Husky and Rosie the Malamute is her mom. She has a very pretty and easy to care for coat too. She is on antibiotics right now for a few lick spots probably caused by stress and boredom, but we expect her to heal quickly and once in a new forever home she should not have this problem. Both girls are getting a bath this week and will be looking for a new home as soon as possible. Like Rosie, Skamper is a tad shy right now, but gets along great with kids and all humans alike. They are not used to riding in cars or walks on leashes, but a few trips to somewhere fun will take care of that problem in a Mal-Minute. They will need a securely fenced yard as both girls like a good neighborhood adventure if given the opportunity.
