Update Mica spent a day in the city recently. He was very well behaved! He enjoyed a long walk in an urban park, and another to a busy beach with lots of people. He loves water...you should see him play in the wading pool! Mica was curious about all the new smells and sights. He may be able to live with a cat. During his visit, he met the family cat (who was crated), and he didn't get overly excited. Nor was he interested in squirrels. He rode well in the truck. He was quiet and slept well in a new home during the night in spite of Seafair fireworks in the background. Mica has long legs and strong paws (he likes to shake but actually rakes your legs!). He would benefit from obedience classes to channel his energy and tendency to want to be the leader. An active home with experienced dog people and frolics outdoors would be ideal for Mica. He is very responsive to people and wants to engage with everyone he meets. He takes treats gently, and has some basic house manners. Mica will add weight and with his long legs he will attract lots of attention; he is a hunk!! Are you looking for a young boy who can skijour with you all day long? Mica is a very social, people friendly boy who is built for speed and an active lifestyle. He is tall and has a bit of weight to gain but he comes complete with some basic training such as sit, and shake. He gives kisses and takes treats very gently from your hand, and loves to lean into you for some petting and attention. Mica rides well in the car, seems okay with other dogs and ignored the cats at the boarding kennel, so may do okay with a careful cat introduction. Mica is energetic and inquisitive and does well on leash walks. The adoption fee of $300 includes spay-neuter and all vaccines. Mica is being cared for in Kent, WA. |
