Fang is the Alpha male of a group of 8 dogs who were rescued when their owner became ill and could no longer care for them. His name fit his looks perfectly, he looks like a tough guy and has a rather stand-offish attitude when you first meet him. But Fang is a marshmallow on the inside! Once he gets to know you and trust you he comes over for some gentle petting and love and leans in with a smile. Fang is a very mellow older gentleman who has been an outdoor only dog. He may do well as either an only dog or with a female companion his own size. Fang will be neutered soon and is looking for his new forever home with a strong pack leader who is also soft on the inside. Fang is not a dog for a home with small children or cats. He is learning to walk on the leash and would love some daily exercise to keep him in shape.
