Update - Kenai continues being an easy going guy who loves strolls, but is not up to hikes or long treks. He is a gorgeous, stunning dog with a beautiful easy maintenance coat. He is very healthy, and his weight has stabilized at 114 lbs. He will make a great companion for someone who loves Mal looks, but prefers a mellow companion.

Kenai has three legs but you would never know it as he does not let it slow him down. He races around the back yard at his foster home and plays ball, actually batting it back to you. Kenai is a delightful dog, peppy, lively and always up for fun. He appears to be well trained, obeys basic commands and looks to you for leadership. He loves the car like most mals, is a very good rider and doesn't even need help getting into the back seat. Kenai loves kids and all people and is always friendly and affectionate. He has done great with all the dogs he has been exposed to so far. Kenai loves to eat but doesn't beg at the table and stays out of the kitchen when his foster mom is preparing food.
