Learn more about the Alaskan Malamute.
One half of a bonded pair we would really like to re-home together, Kota is one BIG Woolly boy! He is about 20 lbs heavier than his littermate Kima but about the same height. He could use a regular exercise program to take off a few extra pounds. Kota has beautiful coloring and markings, but his coat is not in great shape at the moment, once he has a good grooming and some healthy nutritional kibble this boy will be a stunner! Kota is the more dominant of the two dogs. Kota and Kima are house trained, they will ring a bell if they need to go out. They also know basic commands and believe it or not WILL LEAVE THE TREAT until you say to get it, and they took them very gently. They even sat down first. They are very friendly and both like lots of wooooing. They grew up in a family with kids, so will do well supervised with them due to their size. Cats are probably a no, they will chase and probably injure a cat by packing up together. They are semi-territorial with their yard, but not aggressive and both do like car rides too. Are you looking for a gorgeous pair that are already bonded and at a great age to take out for nice walks and hiking or camping trips?
