Midnight update from her foster dad Midnight can be picky with her dog friends but it appears to be only when the other dog is initially too aggressive for her. She likes introductions to be slow. She has shown a lot of interest in the cat and she alertly watches the squirrels. I have no doubt if she got out she would be all over them. I do not believe I have fostered a dog that is just so sweet and gentle as her. I am so impressed with her manners. She is just so easy going and all she seems to care about is being part of the pack. She takes treats very gently, she eats in a calm slow and easy manner. She does not try to push through the open gate when you open it to come in or leave. Other then a slight concern for her ability to escape, I have never had one so easy to care for. Midnight is a beautiful young female with a very unique Agouti coloring. She came into rescue after a run in with a small dog, so she will need a home without small dogs or other critters. She walks very nicely on leash, is very sweet around people and really wants to be part of the human group. She rides in the car very quietly. Midnight was somewhat timid when arriving at her new foster home and meeting the resident male Mal, but when confronted by several dogs on a walk she just ignored them and kept walking. She is slender and probably needs to gain around 10-15 lbs. Midnight is an adorable girl who is ready to find her forever home today. Midnight is being cared for in Goldendale, WA. |
