Princess Maya is a very sweet young girl who came into rescue after her family lost their home. Maya is somewhat shy and submissive but loves playing with other dogs and is extremely people friendly. She knows sit and down and happily did them for cheese treats in her former home, although since coming to the kennel she is pretending she doesn't know much. Maya needs some work walking on a leash and also can be rather exuberant when she is feeling up to it so may do best in a home with kids over 10. Maya loves belly rubs but hates car rides, most likely because she never had any. This should be easily remedied with some fun, short car rides around the block for a couple of weeks ending in a fun destination. Maya was just spayed and is not too happy about being in a kennel right now so she is hoping to go to her new forever home very soon.
