Hi, my name is Sitka! I was rescued from a shelter three years ago and am currently living with three brothers and one sister, snow dogs like myself of course. I've enjoyed my time with this pack but feel I am not getting enough individual attention. Here's my story. I really like attention and an active lifestyle. I love to be brushed and groomed. I do have some separation anxiety so I prefer to not be left alone for an extended period of time. I am working on this and really need a family willing to work with me. Initially I am shy and uncertain of my surroundings but tend to adapt when given an opportunity to do so. I know lots of tricks, agility, and I love to run. I've pulled my owners on everything from sleds, to scooters, to skates. I also like to hike on trails and will occasionally put my paws in water. I am not threatened by introductions to other dogs but sometimes am afraid of people I am unsure about. I know I am loved by my current pack but I feel I need to be placed in a home with fewer dogs so I can be top dog.
