Me and my Shadow... Shadow wants to be just that - your Shadow. She is happiest with her human companions and very much wants to be by your side. This beautiful young girl is a bundle of energy and would do well with an active family with bigger kids. Shadow has endearing, puppy-like qualities; she loves to cuddle and play with her toys - she even likes playing in the water! Shadow is also exceptionally friendly and outgoing. During her first visit to the Vets office she did some counter cruising with half her body on the receptionists desk... until she decided to spring over the counter and push the outside door open! Obviously, she is very clever and would need a securely fenced yard. Shadow is smart and knows a few commands. She seems to get along well with other dogs, but like so many malamutes, Shadow does not like cats so a home without small critters would be best. Shadow could use some manners and would benefit from training or classes. While Shadow has bonded well with her humans in the past, its sad that she has been bounced around and rough-housed with in her short life. Shadow needs someone who is dedicated to helping her become a well behaved and much loved member of the family.
