Can't decide if you want a siberian or a malamute? This little gal is the best of both worlds, as we think she is a mix of two great snowdog breeds. Kimmie Kai is a beautiful gentle little young lady with striking facial markings and a nice thick coat. She was picked up as a stray wandering the streets for quite a while so her coat is a little rough and she is still underweight. She is initially very shy and timid and afraid of any new sounds and surroundings, but with patience and kindness she learns and adapts very quickly. She wants to love people but approaches in a cautious submissive manner probably due to a rough start in life. She shows no aggression towards other dogs, and initially seems a bit shy around them. In just 2 weeks with her foster pack she is playing and wrestling with the other dogs, and has learned from them that people are OK and give GREAT belly rubs! She was OK in a crate at night but after 3 days she slept with the rest of her pack by her favorite girlfriend Kelsey. She only had one little accident and will let you know by pacing that she needs to go out. Kimmie would like to have a playmate in her new home which makes her feel much more secure, and help burn off that energy. She is a ball of energy, enthusiasm and curiosity and needs some leash training to contain her excitement when getting out for walks. We think Kimmie Kai will thrive once she is in a loving gentle home and allowed to feel like a part of a family. Once she realizes humans can be kind, she will pay you back in spades with Mal loving. Kimmie is being loved on in Kent, WA. |
