Nero will make someone a very wonderful companion. He is a sweet older guy who is an affectionate face kisser. He gets along with cats and dogs of all sizes and is house trained. Nero loves attention but is not pushy about it. He walks very well on a leash staying fairly close to your side when walking him. Nero is very gentle about taking treats, and really appreciates a nice soft dog bed. He is also a dainty eater and prefers to dine rather than wolf his food down and hardly splashes any water when drinking. He rolls over for for some belly rubbing and he has tried to play with his foster mom with a rope toy, but he kept dropping it and looking at her wondering what to do next with it, we don't think he really knows how to play. In our opinion, he is the perfect gentleman, not pushy or rough in any way, but would do best in a home with no young children because he is an older boy. He does have an issue with his right rear leg and does not like putting a lot of weight on it, so will be seen by a vet this week to see what is going on. Nero has a longer coat that has been shaved on the back half of his body to look like a Lion. He will be gorgeous once that grows back.
