Stoney is a young male that was part of a huge puppy mill breeding operation that got out of control. Luckily for Stoney and his other companions they have been rescued and removed from that terrible situation.

Stoney's best features are his personality and good looks. He is a happy playful guy and for the most part is calm. He has a nice thick coat which is really starting to look good. Stoney will consistently sit with a hand command and he is still connecting the word sit to the hand command. He has become very comfortable in the house and loves to lie next to the air conditioner. He will do anything for a treat and when you pet him he turns to mush. He soaks up all of the attention he can. He gets along exceptionally well with the female dog he is being fostered with and they will play by chasing each other around the back yard. He seems to be very happy in his new surroundings and loves to go for a walk or jog. He is athletic and has a beautiful stride and is not a digger or a climber. He loves kids but can get too excited around them so needs to be supervised around small children. Stoney does have an established prey drive but his current foster family is working on that with him. Stoney wants and needs to be part of a canine pack and will not do well as an only dog.
