Malina is still a puppy somewhere between 9 months to 1 year old is our guess. The shelter found her as a stray and she has been on her own for a while. Malina came in with sores and scabs all over her body from being neglected. She is through with her treatment and is doing nicely. She is a young bouncy girl and does not know her boundaries as yet but with simple consistent training Malina will learn quickly. She is very dog friendly and like most mals has a high prey drive so no cats. Young children may be a challenge as Malina is young herself and could easily knock a child down. She knows her sit command but has not had much training on a leash as she likes to pull and jump around but we are working on her leash manners. She is very hyper while riding in a car so needs to be crated and is not house trained but again she is young and intelligent and will learn quickly. Malina will need a very secure yard as she can easily jump high fences. One of handlers that works with Malina describes her like a little pogo stick always jumping around like she has springs in those little girl paws. Malina is being cared for in Kent WA |
