Oreo is a young female that was part of a huge puppy mill breeding operation that got out of control. Luckily for Oreo and her other companions they have been rescued and removed from that terrible situation. Despite her rough start Oreo is very sweet and curious overall. She still exhibits shyness with new situations or people and shows mild fearfulness when something startles her. Oreo likes and plays well with dogs with similar activity levels or playfulness but can be aggressive toward dogs that show signs of weakness. She does not like other dogs to get anything she considers food in her presence. She bonds quickly to other dogs and shows signs of anxiety when separated from them. Oreo is quickly learning how to walk on leash and does better walking with a secure harness. She knows some basic commands and is very fixated on squirrels so cats and other small animals will not be a good fit for her. Oreo is working on house manners and will go to the door when she needs to go out. She loves her toys plays tuggy with rope bones will chase a ball and bring it back and is a world-champion tail chaser! For Oreo her forever family has to understand where she came from and have patience with her. Oreo loves to run so it would be good if her forever home has a large enough yard that she can let loose and run around crazy. Oreo is being lovingly cared for in Bothell WA |
