Akira is a young girl that is as sweet as pie. She came to us from the shelter and had a bad case of mange but with some medications a few baths and the loving attention of her foster family she is just about healed! Akira has a lot of energy as young pups do and she likes to be active for most of the day. She gets along very well with other dogs with no signs of aggression. Cats however are too interesting for her and she wants to chase after them. Akira enjoys car rides will load into the car on her own and enjoys looking out the window watching the world go by.

She knows a number of commands and walks pretty well on leash for a youngster. Akira does listen while being corrected and obeys her commands fairly well. She is also house-trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She does have some crate training but only stays in for short periods as she prefers to be with the pack. She will follow you around the house and then lay at your feet. Akira has a number of favorite toys and wants to play with them and her current canine friend most of the day! She takes treats easily and will even give you her paw and then take a treat!

Akira would do well with a family in a big yard another dog to play and or someone who will give her plenty attention with training walks play time.
