Balto is a sweet 8 yr old boy who came to the shelter after his owner became homeless and could no longer care for him. He was very shut down at the shelter but now that he is out he has started to relax and enjoy life more! It takes Balto a while to warm up to strangers but once he knows you his silly side comes out! He is happy to be out for walks and has very good leash skills. He is said to get along well with other dogs with no apparent aggression and does not get along with cats! Balto has been an indoor dog and is crate and house trained! He is a really sweet dog who wants to be loved and be able to give back a ton of love in return. Balto has a large lump on his left shoulder that the shelter vet examined and thought it to be a large fatty tumor. This does not seem to bother him in the least and just adds to his sweetness.
