Solstice came to us with his buddy Bear. He has made great progress in his foster home and his family says he is an awesome dog! He loves people and wants to be with his human pack indoors.

He has learned leash manners and lives peacefully with several other dogs in the home. When outdoors he does not bother the alpacas horses pig or the dog savvy cat. He was great at the groomers and did not protest when he had his nails trimmed! He likes car rides once he gets over the initial anxiety of loading up.

Solstice has a deep sonorous woo-woo and would do best in a home with confident adults and older children that are calm and low keyed. He would not do well in a 3 ring circus atmosphere. Solstice is a counter surfer so be prepared to clean your kitchen counter before he does. Solstice would also be a great dog for someone interested in earning their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) he definitely wants to please!
