Get ready to RUMBLE! My name is Kodiak and I would love nothing more than for someone to play play play with me. I have that rumbler look but in a nice boy way. I am not interested in starting anything with other dogs and would love a canine buddy my size to get into mischief with. I ended up in the shelter as a stray and am not sure why no one came looking for me but my former home probably could have given me some better coat care and nutrition. Someone in my past life also taught me to play tug of war. My new owner is going to have to convince me that grabbing my leash and swinging them around on the other end is probably not the best use of my energy. Once you remind me that we are out for a walk I do great on the leash. I am a pretty quick learner when there are treats involved and lots of petting and brushing are always appreciated too. Once I am done blowing my coat my new look is going to be unstoppable. Most Handsome Boy on the Block is my goal for 2012. I will need a home with kids that are a bit older and sturdier than the toddler stage. Small kids around me would be similar to lawn bowling because I tend to move quickly and get excited. My history with cats and other small furry creatures is a mystery to the folks at WAMAL hey a guy has to keep some info confidential! I was not overly interested in that entire pack of squirrels that crossed my path in the park the other day so more detective work is needed.
