My name is Sky and I would love to find a new home. I came from a place that did not really know how to treat dogs nicely and I was left outside a lot and not given much attention. But, the good news is that I am out of that environment and looking on the bright side of thing, I'm looking for a new family to call my own. I do like my ears and neck scratched and will give small kisses on your chin. I have not had much training, but I do know how to sit, especially for treats and I take them very gently. I have been inside the house a few times, but decided to leave my mark so to speak so I think I will need to be trained not to do that, but I am willing to learn. I walk okay on a leash, but I do like to pull a lot! I lived with a smaller female lab and she was my best friend, I cried when she left so I would love a new home with a doggy friend to share my life with. When I was let out of my pen I would run around but not run away, I liked to stay around the yard. I do not like cats and sometimes new people frighten me, but then I warm up to them after I meet them. I am not a timid dog, just cautious, but willing to soak up all the love and affection that you have. Like many mals I am forgiving and want to make the best of things, so I am ready to make a change and start over. Would you be interested in helping me on my journey to a new and better life?
