Captain is a young male that was part of a huge puppy mill breeding operation that got out of control. Captain and his other companions have been rescued from that terrible situation.

Captain has been described as sweet friendly and well behaved. He is a nice easygoing guy who likes a good brushing enjoys the water and will sit nicely for a treat. Captain gets very excited when he knows he is going for a walk but settles down quickly and walks well on a leash. Captain is unknown with cats and other small animals at this time.

Captain seems to enjoy children. He likes to go for walks and will sit nicely and take treats gently. One day out on a walk Captain seemed anxious and wanted to go back but a young child decided to try to walk beside him and Captain was so relaxed with the child that he walked for a long time! YEAH for Captain!

UPDATE: Captain will soon be going in for knee surgery and will then have a 6-8 week recovery/rehab in his foster home. He will not be available for adoption until after his recovery is complete.
