Rocko ended up at the shelter when his owner became ill and could no longer care for him. He is a very sweet boy who loves to be petted and has no issues with petting around his ears or face. Rocko is said to get along with both male and female dogs but does not get along with cats. He also lived with children in his former home and did fine with them. Rocko comes when called and walks well on the leash. He enjoys car rides brushing outdoor activities and walks. Rocko has been mainly an outdoor dog and his temperament has been described as playful and aloof. He is doing some serious shedding right now and would love a new family to spend time brushing him. Rocko is both a digger and a climber. His ideal home would have a covered kennel with a cement floor where he could be safely contained.
