Meet Bandit! He is a young pup that was found running stray. He had a hard time at the shelter initially and was very fearful of men. Bandit has improved but is still just a little wary. He very much adores all his female handlers and would do well in a home where he has major female contact what a lucky guy! Bandit is still jumpy with new things and would do well in a quiet home away from small children or small noisy dogs. He has done fine with other dogs he has met that are his size and is a young boy who is respectful and not pushy. He has had no reaction towards cats but he has a strong prey drive so cats and small critters might not be a good match. He is not house trained but is young and very intelligent so that will not be hard for Bandit to master. He likes to jump in the car and go for rides hanging his nose out the window enjoying all the smells. Bandit gets uncomfortable with too much handling of his neck or shoulders and down his back so a gentle mindful touch is needed with Bandit. He walks fine on a leash and does not pull much he just walks along with no attempts to back pull or slip his collar. He loves hot dogs and takes his treats very gently. Bandit will need some time patience and plenty of TLC to feel secure and grow into the fine mal he was meant to be. Bandit is being cared for in Kent WA |
