This is Kanuk but his friends call him Nook. Nook needs a new home as his mom is terminally ill and she is trying to find him a good home. Kanuk is still a young boy and large at 125 lbs. But do not let his size fool you he can move and enjoys playing with his female buddy. Kanuk lives with an older female mal and gets along good with her and has been around other dogs and has done okay so far. Kanuk does need a canine companion as he is being separated from his female playmate and his mom. He does well with children but because of his size we would recommend no small children. Definitely no cats for Kanuk!

Kanuk is very friendly has a wonderful disposition and enjoys being around his people. He is house-trained and likes to stay indoors. He does have a zinc deficiency which he takes pills for and that seems to be helping just fine.
