Meet the handsome blue-eyed Aries! He is a young boy who was turned into the shelter as his former owner had no time for him. He has been described as a happy go-lucky trouble-maker. This is mostly due to his young age and complete lack of training. Aries is very intelligent and is a known escape artist. At the shelter he opened his kennel door and then proceeded to unlatch all the other kennel doors and he set all his buddies free! Well that let us know he was not dog aggressive and really enjoys the company of other dogs. It also tells us this guy knows his way around latches and gates and will need a very secure area to stay in. Aries is very people focused and affectionate as he will kiss and lick your face all day long. He is a bit of a puller on the leash but has walked fairly well in a harness. He saw a cat and was very interested but it is hard to know if this was due to prey drive or curiosity. He would need to be monitored very closely around cats. He rode well in the car without getting sick however he needed to be tethered as he wants to help you drive! Aries would do well in a home with another dog and with people who are dog savvy enough to contain him. He also needs a family willing to train him and give him the time and patience he needs.
